What we clean
Every surface, every kind of house
Brick. From Victorian red brick terraces to modern brick homes, we lift years of dirt, algae and staining and bring the colour of the brick back, without harming the brick face or the pointing.
Render. We clean sand and cement render and modern thin renders like monocouche, which cannot take pressure washing. Green and black algae comes off and the render looks fresh again.
Stone. Granite, limestone and other natural stone, including steps, sills and door surrounds, cleaned gently so the stone keeps its natural surface.
Painted walls. We clean painted house fronts, and we can also strip old paint off brick and stone. Whatever the surface, most of the work is removing algae build up, old paint and the general grime that dulls a house front over time.
Why we never pressure wash a house
A pressure washer can strip the face off soft brick, wash out pointing and force water deep into your walls. On render it can leave marks and lines that never come out. We clean with low pressure steam instead, so your house comes up clean without the damage. Read why pressure washing does so much harm.

Our method
DOFF steam cleaning
DOFF is a superheated steam system that cleans at up to 150°C but at low pressure. The heat does the work, not force, so it lifts algae, moss, old paint and grime without harming brick, render or pointing. It uses water only, with no harsh chemicals.
- Low pressure, high temperature steam
- Water only, no harsh chemicals
- Safe for soft brick, render and old pointing
- Heat kills algae and moss as it cleans
Paint removal
Old paint taken off brick
Lots of Dublin brick houses were painted at some point, and the paint traps moisture and starts to peel. We strip old paint off brick and stone gently, layer by layer, and bring the original brick back.
- Old masonry paint removed from brick and stone
- No sandblasting or harsh grinding
- Brick left clean and able to breathe again

Period homes
Safe for Victorian and Georgian houses
As a Registered Heritage Contractor, we look after Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian houses, including protected structures. DOFF steam is gentle enough for old, soft brick and lime pointing, which is why it is used on heritage buildings across Ireland and the UK.

Keeping it clean
How long does a clean last?
Most homes need cleaning every few years, depending on how exposed they are. Houses near trees, on north facing walls or in damp or coastal spots go green faster.
Our preventive treatment slows algae regrowth, so your walls stay cleaner for longer after we have been.
